Our Essay Contest winners were Dakotah Fraley, 1st, Shannon Medovich, 2nd and Jennifer Dinterman, 3rd. Each student read their essay and was presented with their award. Dekotah’s essay also won the Zone Competition and went on to District Level. Lion Larry Gray presented an entry as a Lions Member in the contest and donated his award back to the club building fund. Lion Larry Gray introduced our Peace Poster Contest winner, Lauren Fiocco, and had a copy of her Peace Poster for all to see (the original went on to the next level of competition). She was also presented with an award. VDG Bob invited and encouraged us to attend the District Convention in Dover in May and talked on some of his plans for the 2009-2010 Lions Year. The 50-50 Drawing with a value of $11.50 was won by Lion Doris Smith and she donated it back to the Building Fund.
