Meeting Notes

Monday, September 6

The meeting was waived for the Labor Day holiday.

Monday, September 20

We met at 6:30 p.m. at Middleburg Park. Lion President Kevin Trump presided over the meeting.

Attendance: We had 22 members and 1 guests present for the evening. Our guest was future member, Margie Stonesifer, who will be inducted as a member at our October 18th meeting during our District Governor’s Official Visit.

Reports: Lion Larry Stambaugh reported on the progress of the well testing and on our August Crab Feed & building rentals.

Lion President Kevin reported on our Golf Tournament.

Lion Shelbe Stambaugh reminded us of the Basket Bingo on October 16th and asked us to get our tickets sold.

Business: Lion Linda Bowers handed out the tickets for our $1200 Cash Club & Dinner.

Lion Beth Sandifer said that we need items for our upcoming auction. She also mentioned the Great Pumpkin Contest at the Carroll County Farm Museum. We approved a donation.

Lion Larry Gray gave an update on the Peace Poster Contest.

The 50-50 drawing with a value of $12.00 was won by Lion Charlie Cook and he donated it back to the Administrative Fund. Lions Terry Grable and Ralph Gann will be providing the entrees for our October 4th meeting. Lion President Kevin adjourned the meeting at 7:54 p.m.
